Nov-Dec CWC entry

He sat silently. Unmoving and quiet. Adam sat in the abandoned house,thinking. The moments of the last hour replying in his head. He sighed and eventually stood up. He pushed his jet black hair out of his sapphire blue eyes. "I cant believe this..." he whispered,his voice of sadness and anger. Adam pulled out his phone just to see a pic of a pretty girl with white blonde hair,green eyes,and a beautiful smile. "You bitch.." he hissed through his teeth as he threw his phone across the room.

Hours before,Adam was the happiest man alive. "I cant wait man!" Adam exclaimed to his best friend Neil. Neil was about 6'1,with a brunette mohawk and multiple facial piercings. "I know. I know, You haven't shut up about it since she said yes" Neil laughed. Adam laughed too as the two friends looked in the mirror. He looked ready as ever: his tux,his hair,even his lip piercing was perfect! He glanced at his best friend and shoved him to the floor "You soo dont look ready for my wedding mohawk man" Adam chuckled as he helped his friend up. "Yeah and you are too young to be married emo boi" Neil smiled. The fought lovingly,like friends do until the big moment arrived. "Time for you to marry your girl" Neil put his hand on his friends' shoulder as they walked to the church.

Adams phone lit up,it was Neil. He glanced at it but just left it sitting there blinking its bright lights. He sat on the old dusty couch that was left by the previous owners. He stared at the ceiling,still thinking about what happened hours ago. Adam looked at his dirty,ripped,and torn tux and asked himself "Why Naomi...why?"

The moment had arrived. Neil stood next to Adam at the alter as his friend looked down the aisle. "Dude,your shaking. Calm down." Neil reassured his friend and Adam soon calmed down but he was still very excited. The wedding march started and everyone stood up...awaiting the arrival of the bride. Adam watched and waited too..but she didn't come out. "Maybe shes nervous" Adam reassured himself. But after five minutes...still no Naomi. Yet,Naomis' maid of honor came out,ran down the aisle holding a peice of paper.

Adam wiped a tear from his dark blue eyes and tried to stop himself from crying. "Why would she just...how could she...but i thought she..." He whispered then sat in silence for several seconds, "I though she loved me..."

He grabbed the paper out of the woman's hand and read it. His eyes skimmed the words as they said

         ""Dear Adam,
                     I'm sorry but i cant do this. We've had some fun this past year and a half              but...there's someone else and i just dont love you anymore. I'm sorry
                                                                                                           <3 Naomi""

Adam went pale as he dropped the note to the floor. It floated to the ground like a feather,instead of a mans heartbreak. Neil seeing his friends sudden sadness knew what had happened.

Moments past as Adam sat on the old couch. Tears finally overflowed his eyes as he soon cried himself to sleep. His body,slumped on the couch so that he was laying down. Darkness fell as he slept his troubled sleep. Adam dreamt his dreams. He dreamed of Naomi,his life.his friends,and his future. He awoke around midnight to see his phone,on the other side of the room,blinking. He sat up,stretched,and walked to the other side of the room to pick up his phone. As soon as he picked up this piece of technology and plastic,he realized he had many texts and calls. One text from Neil..the others from Naomi.

Adam looked at his family,his friends,and even Naomis' family and coughed "The weddings off." The crowds of people were shocked and started talking amongst themselves as Adam walked outside the church. He looked at the church and ran. He ran until his legs hurt. Where he stopped,was the abandoned house by the lake. He broke a window and climbed inside. There he sat on a couch in the living room and sat quietly.

Adam deleted all the calls and texts from Naomi. He couldn't stand to hear the voice that had brought him so much happiness then destroyed it all. He opened up the only text he had left,the one from Neil. It read
         
         "Dude..where are you? I'm getting worried and i haven't heard from you all day. Txt me later   emo boi "

Adam smiled,stood up,and walked to his friends house.

*KNOCK KNOCK* Neils girlfriend stood up and answered the door. "Well hi Adam" "Hello..is Neil home?" "Yeah,hes in the backyard" "Thank you" Adam ended the conversation and walked to the backyard. There he saw his friend,asleep on a hammock. Adam smirked evilly as he tiptoed to the hammock. Neil snored loudly,unaware of what was happening in his own backyard.

Adam put his hands on the bottom of the hammock and pushed. Neil fell on the grass with a heavy thud. He awoke to Adam,standing over him,laughing. "Ok man...not fucking cool!" Neil yelled as he stood up, "that wasn't cool at all!" He stopped yelling,seeing Adam smiling and laughing made Neil smile. "So emo boi,whatcha want?" "I don't know stupid! You text me last night and told me to come over" Adam said as he sat on the grass,in the sun where his friend had just fallen.

Neil sat next to him and looked at his friend "So what about..you know,Naomi?" His long time friend sat quiet for a couple minutes. Adam looked at Neil and smiled "Screw her! She just lost something great and i dont care about her anymore. This made me see what a whore she was. I know there's someone out there..waiting for me." He proclaimed as Neil smiled. "Adam...thats all i needed to know" The two friends sat on the grass smiling. Forgetting the incident that unfolded exactly 24 hours ago. They sat there as if it never happened.
